Platform Update 6.2
Person Verification
Identity Document Verification
- Improved backend error handling ensures that end-users receive accurate and meaningful error messages during the verification process.
- The Post-Capture Feedback feature in the Web SDK enhances the user experience by providing instant, clear guidance when a user submits an invalid or incorrect document during the verification process. It also checks for image quality issues, such as blur, glare, or skewed images, allowing users to correct them immediately. This real-time feedback reduces verification times, streamlines the process, and improves the overall document capture and verification experience.
- Availability: The Post-Capture Feedback feature is available for customers using SDK version 2.14.0 or higher. Workflow customers require no action to access this feature. All others must upgrade their SDK version.
Person Match
- Eight new data sources have been added to support verification in Germany, Italy, Poland, and Ireland. These additions enhance coverage and reliability for customers operating in these regions.
Business Verification
- A new vendor request deduplication feature reduces duplicate queries by caching requests and responses for up to six hours. If a duplicate request is detected within this window, the cached response is used, minimizing unnecessary calls and improving vendor efficiency.
- Key cost and performance optimization features introduced this quarter:
- Smart Routing: Enables more strategic vendor selection by analyzing key input fields, such as JOI, to reduce vendor costs and improve overall margins.
- Smart Tiering: Implements a tiered vendor engagement strategy, prioritizing calls based on the quality of returned data. This approach maximizes performance and cost efficiency.
- Client Call Deduplication: Reduces redundant vendor requests by utilizing cached responses for up to six hours, enhancing vendor efficiency and reducing unnecessary calls.
Platform
Workflow Studio
- Added a new bulk selection feature for leads. Users can now select multiple leads on the current page to perform bulk actions, including deleting multiple selected leads or changing their statuses in one step. This update simplifies lead management.
- Document uploads within Workflow Studio now integrate with the Document Data Extraction service to automatically extract key information. The service supports document types such as utility bills and extracts fields like name, address, and phone number. Extracted data can be:
- Accessed via API or Client Manager.
- Used to prefill forms for services like Person Match and Individual Watchlist, simplifying input requirements.
- Customized by defining document types and specifying the data to extract.
- A new Audit Logs tab provides detailed tracking of all steps completed by each lead. Key features include:
- Step-by-Step Tracking: View the date and time a lead completed each step, along with node labels, IDs, and Workflow IDs for better transparency.
- Path Visualization: Track the exact path a lead followed, including instances of backtracking, to better understand complex workflows.
- Manual Changes Log: See all manual changes made to a lead, including what was changed, when, and by whom.
- For existing leads, audit data will be displayed if it has already been captured.
